Awana at Covenant

What is Awana?

Awana is a scripture-memory-based children’s ministry that has a tremendous reputation for helping kids and their families get God’s Word into the center of their lives. It goes beyond simply memorizing the verses though. Awana is also about making sure that our children understand the meaning and, most importantly, how to apply them to their lives.

Who can participate?

Awana at Covenant will include ages 3 through 6th grade:

Ages 3 & 4: Cubbies

Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade: Sparks

3rd through 6th Grade: Truth & Training (T & T)

When does Awana meet?

Each Wednesday evening during the school year, from 6-8:00 pm.

How do I register my child? Is there any cost?

All of your children between 3 years old and 6th grade can sign up here. Don’t forget to sign up their friends, too! There is a $25 enrollment fee which helps to cover materials to get you started and an awards vest or t-shirt. Scholarships are also available.

How do I get involved?

It would be awesome if you’d volunteer on Wednesday evenings! AWANA is run by volunteers and  many willing adults are needed. Volunteers help with games, listen to children recite Bible verses, lead the songs and drama, help with set up and clean up, substitute, pray or assist with special events. Please click here to volunteer.
